Spring 2026 Newsletter

Hi friends of the Boulder River Watershed Association! I am bringing back a regular newsletter to keep our community informed of the BRWA’s activities and engagement.

The BRWA hired me in late summer of 2025. Since joining, I dove into learning about the rich history the of the association. We hosted a picnic in August to educate the community about the work of the BRWA and enjoy some time with neighbors. The Executive Committee participated in some strategic planning and has set a new work plan for 2026. A study of the Dry Creek Canal for improvements and some flume repairs were supported by BRWA funds.

In January, BRWA & the Sweet Grass Conservation District submitted a grant application to make improvements to the Main Boulder Road.

We are excited about new opportunities to make a positive impact in the watershed through conservation focused priorities.In the coming months, we will be creating new communications resources around our priority areas and hopefully hosting some summer events.

Together, we can continue to see our watershed thrive for years to come. Thank you for your continued support!
